We are excited to announce our latest partnership with Tapmydata, a decentralized data protocol enabling people to own their digital identity and earn crypto, while allowing companies to rebuild trust. With this partnership, Shyft Network will be able to integrate Tapmydata’s innovation of allowing users to utilize their data to stake in the DeFi market.
The issues surrounding online data and its uses have increased especially due to social media and the growth of the internet. The importance of data and identity verification on different platforms allows users to own their data as well as have power over its use. Many companies have been benefiting from data acquired without the users knowledge or consent. Additionally, little parameters have been put up to identify owners of data, meaning that the validity of certain data or user information is a challenge.
This partnership therefore will allow Shyft Network and Tapmydata to offer users more security for their data, while allowing them to earn by consenting to its usage.
